Online Telegram Decoder
Paste an M-BUS telegram in hexadecimal form. The tool checks the frame, recognizes the data header in a long response, and attempts to decode DIF/VIF data records.
Decode Output
The output is split into frame checking and application data. First it shows frame type, length, control field, address, CI, checksum, and stop byte.
Data Records
For a long response with CI 72, the decoder recognizes the data header and following DIF/DIFE and VIF/VIFE records. The table separates the DIB block, VIB block, and the actual data.
Decoder Limits
The decoder is a basic frame checking aid. Always interpret data fields, VIF/DIF, and units according to the specific device and its documentation.
